Who We Are

Locksmith Skagit is based in the heart of Skagit Valley. A diverse rural location south of Bellingham and North of Seattle. This picturesque small town mentality is shared by all residents. We are a community-driven local area locksmith, proud to offer our mobile locksmith services as well as our full-service walk-in shop to Mount Vernon, Burlington, Sedro Woolley, Stanwood, Anacortes, and the surrounding areas.

Locksmith Skagit is owned by Mount Vernon resident Dan Carroll. He has been providing Skagit Valley with locksmith services since 2009. He is a proud member of the Associated Locksmiths of America. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife Chelsea, and their four children, Nicole, Matthew, Dylan, and Faith.

Dan was a great help. Needed back up fob for my car. Dealership was 2x price and would not include key. Dan sourced the right fob and communicated with me throughout the process. Final work coordinated near shopping where I could get errands run while he did programming and cutting. He offers warranty for his work but I doubt I’ll need it as the work was done so well the first time.

Dan was awesome. Lost our keys and had to get two new ones programmed to our vehicle. He came out quickly and helped us no questions asked. Also doesn’t overcharge. I really appreciate it!

Dan did a great job fixing the lock on my front door. He was professional, courteous, and kept me updated while he was waiting for parts. He also was respectful of my time by giving me an approximate time of his arrival and promising to call when he was on his way with an exact time. He was right on time. Very nice guy too.

Our only key fob to our Volvo was stolen. With no spare key and no way to drive the car, Volvo customer service told me my only option was to tow the car to a Volvo dealership to have keys reprogrammed. I called around to a few local locksmiths just to keep Volvo honest. One of them recommended Dan at Locksmith Skagit. Sure enough, Dan was able to get the job done saving me a $600+ tow bill and some other headaches. Never trust the dealership.
